ANTONIA 2000 Basic Instructions


ANTONIA 2000 back cover details


This information is for the Antonia 2000 scales produced after January 2003, which have a single board inside the head, type PCB 131.

Power up sequence
  • All the LEDS and Display segments will switch on, to check their functionality.
  • the software version, i.e. ANT V46, where ANT stands for ANTONIA and V46 stands for the software version.
  • MENU, blinking, for 10 seconds. To enter the Programming MENU press the SET Button now.
  • ALT=OK or ALT=NO depending on wether the height meter is connected or not

  • Scale controls and connectors:
    All scale controls and connectors are located in its back. Please see a list of it in the above picture.
  • Programming Buttons: they are 2, named SET and SELECT and are located on the top left of the scale back cover
  • Volume adjustment: to adjust the volume of the sound. Located mid left.
  • Counter: to check coins
  • Height meter fuse: replace this 2A fuse, placed on the 5V power supply of the height meter, in case the height meter is not working
  • Height meter connector and Earh screw. Connect the height meter connector and earth screw here.

    Programming menu

    To enter the programming menu, switch on the scale and press the SET BUTTON when the MENU text appears on the display.
    The machine will display COD=000. Push the SET BUTTON to increment the number and SELECT BUTTON to switch to next digit.
    The code to enter the Programming menu is 369. Input it, by means of SET and SELECT BUTTONS.

    Once in the menu you will see a list of the possible options rolling on the display, you can choose the Option buy incrementing the number with the SET BUTTON and choosing with the SELECT BUTTON.
  • 1=CNT to display the counter
  • 2=CRD to display the number of coins required for each play (default is 1), form 1 to 4.
  • 3=CLK to check and setup real time clock
  • 4=ALT to test the height meter and calibrate it by means of its back adjustment by means of a screwdriver
  • 6=SET to calibrate the machine weight measurement accuracy
  • 7=KOP to switch the weighing system between Kg and Lb
  • 8=SPK to listen to all the recorded sentences
  • 9=END to exit from the menu


  • To Calibrate the WEIGHT accuracy
  • Choose option 6 above
  • On the display you will now read a sub-menu
  • 1=ZERO
  • 2=SET
  • 3=DISP
  • 9=END
  • To verify the scale calibration choose option 3 and you will see the actual weight the scale is weighing.
    if you put a 10Kg weight on the platform and yuo read 10.00 it means that the scale is calibrated.
    If you read a different weight it meas that the scale is not calibrated, in which case you need to execute the calibration procedure by doing ZERO and then SET to calibrate.
  • Before calibrating make sure the scale is stable, that there is no weight on platform, that the platform os leveled respect the ground and that it has been switched on for at least 10 minutes.
  • ZERO: you need to do this before calibrating the scale. Choose 1, press the SEL BUTTON and wait until the rolling menu comes back.
  • SET: to calibrate the scale you need a 20 Kg reference weight. Put it on the platform, choose option 2 and press the SEL BUTTON. Wait without touching the scale until the rolling menu comes back.
  • DISP: as explained before, you can use the DISP function to check that the scale is now calibrated. If you think you need to refine the calibration, redo ZERO agaiin, if this is not enoough, redo ZERO and then SET again.
  • IMPORTANT: if the scale was really out of weight, you may need to do ZERO and SET 2 or 3 times.
