We started equipping our scales with ultrasonic height meters in 1988.
Nowadays almost all scales are delivered with the height meter, being the only reason against it the lack of ceiling space.

How does the body height meter works?
It works like a bat, sending ultrasonic beeps and listening for their echoes.
Our long tested technology ensures that the accuracy is within 1 cm (better that half inch) under most environmental conditions.
It is possible to calibrate the height meter very easily adjusting a trimmer to set the displayed height to be the same of a reference rod.

The FTS height meter is also a BMI (body mass index) computer, that calculates BMI value according to eight measured and weight received from the FTS scale.
